Biography
Prof. Mark Che Bruce has a distinguished 30-year career in emergency medicine, culminating in a decade-long role as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in a bustling emergency department. With a wealth of experience, Che transitioned seamlessly into academia and currently serves as a dedicated faculty member at the University of Birmingham Dubai. As an integral part of the teaching team for the Advanced Practice in Healthcare (APIHC) Master’s degree program, Che imparts invaluable insights gained from years of frontline emergency care. This unique blend of extensive practical experience and academic commitment positions Che as a guiding force in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. Driven by a passion for advancing healthcare practices, Che continues to contribute significantly to emergency medicine, both in the dynamic setting of an emergency department and within the educational landscape of the University of Birmingham Dubai.
