Track 34: Inpatient Care

A person who is admitted to the hospital for medical care is referred to as a “inpatient.” Most individuals are admitted to the hospital as inpatients either as part of an emergency or as a prearranged procedure or therapy. Whether overnight stays are short-term or long-term, inpatient care necessitates them.

Patients whose condition necessitates hospital admission are cared for as inpatients. Patients are only admitted to a hospital when they are very sick or have experienced significant bodily injuries thanks to advancements in modern medicine and the development of extensive out-patient clinics.
