Biography
Leading the way in providing healthcare to the underprivileged, Dr. Lachman is globally known. He has more than 50 years of experience in caregiving, developing and implementing programs, and advocating on behalf of marginalized communities. His leadership in managing asthma and preventing premature births has earned him recognition on a national level. He has over 25 years of experience as a managed care medical director.
As President and CEO of Lachman Community Development and Consulting Services, he currently works to improve underprivileged communities and individuals, with a particular focus on social factors such as unemployment, access to healthcare, affordable housing, food insecurity, small business development, and workforce development. Reopening from COVID, innovative care models, and integrating new technologies and communication into community-based care are the main topics of related work.
