Modern medicine’s field of aesthetic medicine focuses on treating diseases such scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, undesirable hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins in order to improve a patient’s cosmetic look.

Aesthetic medicine is a particularly rewarding discipline in terms of financial incentives, work-life balance, and professional advancement. With these operations, patient satisfaction is typically fairly high.

Also referred to as “Anti-Aging Medicine,” “Cosmetic Medicine,” or “Appearance Medicine.” Different from plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine is a newly emerging clinical specialty that offers less invasive medical procedures to improve patients’ satisfaction with their physical appearance.

What does aesthetic medicine cover?

Dermatology and surgical techniques ranging from non-invasive laser treatments to invasive reconstructive surgery are included in the field of aesthetic medicine. Patients’ faces and body structures are enhanced by aesthetic operations.
