Biography
Essam Hamed Amin Ali is a skilled professional with 26 years of extensive experience in the health industry. He has expertise in JCI with reputable hospitals and strong skills in quality management, hospital management, planning, and interpersonal skills. His doctorate in business administration with a focus on quality management was earned in the USA in 2007, his master’s degree in quality management system from the University of Wollongong in Australia was earned in 2005, and he received his bachelor’s degree in medicine from Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt, in 1991. He is a member of the UAE’s Ministry of Health’s Medical Education Committee. Total quality management, ISO standards, the EFQM model, the JCI standard, strategic planning, operations management, medical staff relations, quality assurance, change management, cross-cultural management, and continuous quality improvement are some of his areas of expertise. He also serves as a trainer and consultant for the Joint Commission International regarding the accreditation of healthcare organisations.
